This presentation provides an overview of the Smithsonian's first centralized collections emergency management program - Preparedness and Response in Collections Emergencies (PRICE). Presented throughout are examples of data collection and how it is used for risk assessments, training and workshop that PRICE provides, and efforts that PRICE takes to promote collaboration and communication across disciplines.
This presentation was given at the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Winter Meeting held in Bethesda, MD in January 2020.
