But really it is just a file format that allows a mix of runnable code blocks and documentation in markdown.</div><div><br></div><div>The Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that allows you to create and share documents that contain live code, visualizations and other results of that code, and blocks of markdown-based annotation. People use them for all the sorts of things you might want to script: data cleaning and transformation, numerical simulation, statistical modeling, machine learning and much more. … and part of that use is usually, a slick, readable and interactive public presentation.<br></div>
