Structures of Icy Flows in River Bends

We have used the ADCP Sontek M9 to monitor the hydraulic components under open surface and ice-layer. Field measurements took more than 30 days in total, and performed in Fall 2019, Winter 2020, and Fall 2020. We observe the impact of the multiple bend configuration on flow structures, moreover, target to reveal the effect of ice layer on flow characteristics. This poster was presented at the 2021 Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Winter Meeting held virtually in January 2021.
