We calculated community synchrony for 18 headwater macroinvertebrate communities in the continental US using data from the National Ecological Observatory Network. We also calculated temperature and stream discharge variability and species turnover across a time period from 2014-2022. We found that increasing temperature variability and species turnover was negatively related to community synchrony. This poster was presented at the 2024 July ESIP Meeting in Asheville, NC (July 22-26, 2024).
