Hydrological sciences have been advancing rapidly with increased computational power, richer data, and collaborative open-source efforts. The integration of physics and AI/ML in a national-scale hydrological modeling faces challenges, emphasizing the need for a consistent and standardized evaluation system. The Community Streamflow Evaluation System (CSES), aligned with NOAA and Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH) goals, streamlines evaluation and efficiently bypasses data acquisition limitations (e.g., getting NWIS observations or NWC/NWM predictions). This tool aims to enhance large-scale hydrological modeling, supporting improvements in streamflow prediction. This poster was presented as part of the 2024 January Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Meeting held virtually (Jan 23-26, 2024).
