Our ESIP Lab project experimented with ingesting an existing database into a Neo4j database. The existing database captured the relationships between bird species, conservation plans, conservation priorities, habitat types, and other information. We further experimented with using Google Colaboratory to host an online collaborative iPython notebook that connected to a cloud instance of the Neo4j database. The objective was to create a mock-up of a planning document with 'live' graph visualizations of relationships between the many complex entities involved in conservation planning. This poster was presented at the 2021 Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Winter Meeting held virtually in January 2021.
