GCMD Keyword Viewer

For many years, there was not a straightforward way to view the Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) keywords, see their hierarchical structure, show keyword relationships, and access definitions other than using the Keyword Management System (KMS) API, which was designed for machine-to-machine access. The new web-based keyword viewer allows metadata curators and ontologists to search for and navigate the GCMD keywords in a user-friendly and human-readable tree structure. This poster was presented at the 2021 Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Winter Meeting held virtually in January 2021.
