One of the biggest challenges for new users of semantics, and for many others with more experience, is choosing good terms and good ontologies. By definition, a good ontology will have good terms in it—but they may not be the good terms you need, even if the ontology is about your topic. And there might be some excellent terms hidden in obscure ontologies. Even if you can find all the options, how can you decide which ones are best for your needs?
